Summer Term 2022 brings new clubs for our children to enjoy!

Our clubs can be booked via Parentmail. Clubs will begin at 3:15pm and end at 4:15pm or 4.45pm.

Fitness with Miss Richards has plenty of space available. This will be a fantastic circuit training session with music blasting and key skills worked on will be flexibility, balance, strength and co-ordination. You will really get moving!

Musical theatre Y3-6 - starting after half term, this club will be run by LAMDA trained Enya Hendricks. She works with the children on acting, singing and dancing and at the end of each term, will do a show for parents. Children get to input into scripts and get really creative. This club is a sell out every term at Belmont school for a reason!

Street Dance Rec-Y-2- run by Ghost Dance Troupe this club is cool and fun. Children work on learning different moves and get to do group choreography as well as solo freestyle. The children will do a show for parents at the end of term which is not to be missed.

Dodgeball - a great sport for children and loved equally by girls and boys, dodgeball is super fun. Easy to learn but never gets boring children will be getting fit without even realising it! They will develop team work and coordination skills too.

Basketball - we have a basketball court, so let's use it! Basketball is widely played at secondary schools, so it is great for children to get a 'leg-up' in learning the game.

Football - it's a classic and best to start young. All standards from beginner to being an expert in the Cruyff turn will be catered for!

We will also look organising matches against local schools for the children in these clubs so they have a chance to represent their school.

Science R-Y6 still has a few places but not many - book fast!

Disney Dance  R-Y2 This is a LOVELY club. Children love the music and the teacher - run by Marsha from Pinnacle Arts who is a brilliant coach who has worked with all sorts of people in showbiz. The children will work towards an end of term show for parents.

Looking ahead to September, there will be a wider choice again and we will have had time to hear from you what you and the children would really like to have.
